INDIGENE
Unless you’re a studio wizard, (I’m not) photography forces you to get out there amongst it all. You look closer and differently which is why I find it such an amazing tool when I’m traveling. There’s a voyeuristic thrill to be had when seeing life through a lens. The psychological distance invites personal interpretation (I'm guilty of too often romanticizing what I see) but the alternative perspective also prevents you from merely skipping over the surface and sometimes you're rewarded with that special feeling when you press the button and you know you've caught it.
